U13 Girls champions at the Bradenton Cup

While the majority of the B1 USA teams were competing in the Kick-Off Spring Classic in Fort Myers, both of our U13 teams converged to the Lakewood Ranch sports Campus to defend their colors in the 8th annual Bradenton Cup.

The U13 Boys fought hard!

In general, the boys have had some hard games during last weekend but one thing for sure is that they really gave their everything.

In their first game against Florida Flames, the boys played decently but so did the opposition. The game was really balanced with both parts creating interesting chances. Unfortunately, while the game was a tie at 1-1, the boys conceded a goal leaving the score at 1-2.

Moreover, despite their disappointment in the first game, the boys had good energy coming in the second game against South Miami.

Anyways, despite the efforts of our U13, they couldn’t find the back of the net, the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

Finally, they played their third and last game against Charlotte Premier and even though they gave their hearts out on the field they came up short of one goal. We are proud of the effort you put out boys, well done!

The U13 Girls with another Championship!

The U13 Girls have been improving tremendously week after week. They have gained a lot of confidence in their potential and consequently, their game has increased in quality.

Last weekend, the Girls played in a U14 bracket but that did not stop them from doing what they love.

In their first game, they played against North Port and were able to bring the win after a nail-biting game, an end score of 2-3.

Next up were the Tampa Bay team, and this time the girls completely dominated the game, scoring 5 goals to 1. Impressive performance and huge efforts in their offensive phases!

Furthermore, the next game was against Pinellas. There again, it seems like nothing could stop the girls as they were in the same mindset as the earlier game, win at all costs.

They were able to be defensively well structured as well as being offensively efficient, the game ended in a 3-0 win.

In the finals, the girls faced the same team as the first game which was very close. They knew what was waiting for them and they only had one goal in mind: “take the gold medal back home.

That is exactly what they did after a wonderful performance and 1-0 win at the final whistle. Once again the girls successfully become champions. Congratulations Girls, keep it up!
