Last B1 Tournament of the season

At B1 Soccer Academy USA, some of our teams disputed their last tournament of this year-round off a season full of surprises. Our Academy has been really active in tournaments during the year, and it has been a pleasure to watch every single team fight for the B1 colors.

Moreover, it was interesting to see how each of those teams improved after working hard every single week. Last weekend, our teams went to the Naples fields to compete in the Naples Spring Shootout. This tournament was special to everyone and each player came to play hard one last time.

The U11 Boys kept their heads high

The Boys had two though games to start with in last weekend’s tournament. Under the blazing sun, the boys played against Margate United and Azzurri Storm respectively. The Boys couldn’t keep up with the rhythm of the opposition but they surely did not give up. They gave everything they had until the last minute.

Unfortunately, they ended losing both games so they were disappointed but saw the last game as being the opportunity to finish on a good note.

That is exactly what happened as they were able to overcome the second team of Azzurri Storm. These boys never give up, and along with Coach Cory, they finished off the season with a 2-1 win.

The U12 with a really good performance!

The U12 played the 11 aside tournament once again. In their first game against PBG Predators, our boys conceded an early goal in the first half.

Although they had chances we couldn’t find the back of the net. In the second half, Trent who is a striker but played in the defense last weekend was able to tie the score after an amazing run from the back.

Shortly after we conceded another goal after a defensive mistake. Anyways, in the last minutes of the game, Devin was able to conclude an action and tie the game at 2-2.

In their second game against Azzurri Storm, the boys started with a lot more energy after a motivational speech of Jarrod. Unfortunately our boys let an own goal reach the back of the net.

Anyways, we came out attacking a lot in the second half, able to score 4 goals! The boys were really focused in their game and put a lot of pressure to the opposition who couldn’t keep up.

In their last game, they faced a strong San Carlos team. Despite their amazing effort, the boys were not able to find a win, but they played at their best, giving everything for what would be their last competitive game of the season.

The U13 had a rough tournament

The U13 boys played against some fierce competition last weekend. Anyways, we believe they still had a good performance, just a lack of luck and efficiency in some aspects of each game.

Their first game faced them to Azzurri Storm in a really close game. Both teams were pressuring high and playing quick, giving a special intensity to the game.

Our boys were able to find the back of the net 2 times but unfortunately the rivals were able to score one more, taking the win from our boys (2-3).

The next game was a bit more difficult as our boys were not able to finish their opportunities. On the other side, the rivals scored two goals who were hard on our boys. With the fatigue already getting felt, the boys were not able to overcome Highlands.

Finally, the U13 faced the Davie Sharks in their third match in a similar game as the previous one. Despite giving everything they had the boys couldn’t find a win. We are still proud of their amazing efforts during the whole tournament.

B1 USA wants to say a special thanks to every B1 Teams and Coaches for all the amazing moments during this season in a difficult global crisis. We are really proud of every single one of you who fights for the B1 colors. We can’t wait to be back in the next season!
